Brown’s STEM Internship Program

This program provides rising 9th and 10th graders with the chance to explore a combination of academic studies, research-based learning, and extracurricular and social activities. Students will gain experience learning and living on a college campus, insight into the various and diverse STEM fields, and a stand-out accolade for their forthcoming college applications.

So, what’s this program all about?

The Program 

This program is a deep-immersive experience into the STEM subjects and the world of academia at Brown. This course is on campus and lasts for just under two weeks. Your typical day will be learning about STEM topics, then engaging with a research project, with the potential to work with Brown students and graduates. There will also be extracurricular activities, some of which are off-campus and social events in the evenings. Moreover, this program gives you the opportunity to make new friends and even join a community of like-minded STEM enthusiasts. You never know, you might even end up studying with some of them in college!
